We read Matthew Majd in the State Bar of California’s licensee search. The practice-area and language rows are the lawyer’s own; the Bar prints above them that it does not verify their accuracy and makes no warranties about competence.
California states plainly what it hides — and it is not this. Above every status history the Bar warns that some administrative suspensions are removed from display under its own removal policy, and it defines those as non-disciplinary: unpaid fees, missed education. Disciplinary matters are not covered by that policy, and one listing on this page proves the field works — two suspensions, two case numbers and five linked court documents, still on display years later. So a clean status history here means more than a clean one in Washington. It still does not mean the Bar has told us everything.
What the record shows
The page states in one section that waiting-period coverage runs to $25,000 for property damage, and in another that it is $30,000 for property damage. Both are on the same page about the same phase. One of them is wrong and the page does not know which.Verified
